Edinburgh & Lothians Branch Open Day

Our Open Day held in the Minto Hotel Edinburgh on 9th May turned out to be a great success.  It was good to see so many people there (around 60), including a number  with Motor Neurone Disease.  We at the Branch hope to thatll all who attended found it an enjoyable and informative day.

Our grateful thanks goes to Professor Siddharthan Chandran from the Euan MacDonald Centre for giving up his time to be  with us and give an informative talk on the research being carried out at the Centre.  Also, to the Researchers present who answered questions relating to the research work in progress.

Thanks also to MND Scotland's Chief Executive Craig Stockton for making those present more aware of what the Association has to offer.

Last but not least a huge thanks must go to Branch member Ann Callaghan for her tireless efforts in organising this event.
