Trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu!

We’re looking for people to trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in September 2012. The opportunity to take part in this event with other MND Scotland supporters and visit this fantastic destination will provide you with an unbelievable experience which you will never forget… and all for a great cause.
The Inca Trail is rated amongst the ten best trekking routes on Earth. It boasts striking beauty, ancient Inca ruins and diverse ecological zones. The trail includes very different terrain from high desert plateau to tropical Andean rainforest. Our ultimate destination is Machu Picchu – the “Lost City” of the Incas – one of the world’s most fascinating and important archaeological finds. Other highlights include the historical town of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, the Inca site and market town of Pisac, the hot springs at Aguas Calientes and the capital city of Lima.
The opportunity to take part in this event with other MND Scotland supporters and visit this fantastic destination will provide you with an unbelievable experience which you will never forget.
This event will help us to raise essential funds, and there has never been a greater need for our services. There are now 431 people in Scotland living with MND. This is the highest number ever recorded and the demand for our care and support services is increasing. We need your help to continue to deliver them.
The minimum sponsorship required to take part will approximately £3,800. There are loads of ways to reach this target, and we will provide full support for your fundraising to help you reach it.
