Welcome to our new information page on MND Scotland support groups. This is a relatively new service bringing together patients, family members and previous carers in a social setting to exchange information and provide support to one another.
There are 9 groups set up in Aberdeen, Ayrshire, Glasgow, Forth Valley, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Edinburgh & Lothian and Fife & Tayside. We hope to have a new group starting in Inverness for the Highland region sometime in June.
The groups meet on a bi-monthly basis for light refreshments. Anyone affected by the condition is welcome to attend any of the sessions which are free.

Ayrshire
The group meets in the Gailes Hotel, Marine Drive, Irvine KA11 5AE at 12.15pm (for a 12.30pm buffet)

The group meet in the Bentley Hotel, 19 High Road, Motherwell ML1 3HU at 12.15pm (for a 12.30pm buffet)

Renfrewshire – Evening Group
This group is organised by Cllr. Lorraine Cameron and takes place in the Accord Hospice, 7 Morton Avenue, Paisley PA2 7BW, within the new Hawkhead Housing development at 7.30pm. Access is via a secure entry door at the side of the hospice, press the buzzer and someone will let you in.

Aberdeen
The group meet within the Rubislaw Church Centre, 1 Beaconsfield Place, Aberdeen AB15 4AB at 7pm. (Please do not arrive before 7pm as the centre is closed between 5pm-7pm)

The group at the moment meet at Ibrox Football Stadium, 150 Edmiston Drive, Glasgow G51 2XD, in the Morton Suite situated at the rear of the building at 6.30pm for a buffet.
