MND Awareness week was about trying to tell as many people as possible about motor neurone disease, and raising the profile of the condition and the work of MND Scotland.
Why...? Because the more that people know about MND the more likely they are to support us, and that can help us to continue making a real difference to the lives of people living in Scotland with MND.
This is what we were up to...
Twibbon Campaign
Are you on Facebook or Twitter? Tell your friends about our campaign to raise awareness and plant a virtual field of cornflowers. Add our Twibbon to your profile - it's really easy to do.

Activity at the Scottish Parliament
The Twibbon Camapign has reached the Scottish Parliament, and a motion has been raised by Christina McKelvie MSP in support. There have also been two pariamentary questions lodged.
You can ask your MSP to support this campaign and we have a template that you can email or send.
Read more about the Motion and Questions here, and find out how to ask your MSP to support these.
Press Releases
We've sent Press Releases to all of the national and local press. These feature the stories of people living with MND, and information about MND Scotland and our services.

Tell Your Story
Telling your story to the local press can be a great way to raise awareness of MND. We've created a guide to help you do this, and will be happy to provide any help you may need.
Find out how to get your story into the local press here.
