The state-of-the-art disabled-friendly lodge has been specially designed with MND in mind. The lodge aims to provide families affected by MND, and other disabilities, with a chance to take a break from their normal routine and to enjoy a break together.
Although it is available to anyone who wishes to use it, if you have MND and live in Scotland you will be given priority booking up to 4 weeks in advance of departure. If you are affected by MND and live in Scotland you will also receive a discount and may be able to apply for a ‘Time Out Grant’ from MND Scotland to put towards the costs.
Due to the physical progression of MND, there are often barriers to families taking a break they may desperately need. That's why the Clayton Lodge has been purpose designed to prioritise space and comfort and is fitted with an array of helpful adaptations suitable for people with MND and other disabilities. The lodge includes a sofa bed and second bedroom, with two single beds, allowing for the lodge to sleep seven in total.
Unfortunately, no dogs or other pets are allowed.
The lodge is strictly no smoking.

If there is someone with MND, who lives in Scotland, on your trip, please select your preferred dates below and our team will get in touch to confirm this and provide you with a discounted rate. Bookings are not final until a confirmation email has been sent from our team. Unfortunately, due to high demand, there is currently a delay in confirming dates, but we will be in touch as soon as possible.
If someone has MND but doesn't live in Scotland, or no one in your party has MND
While our accessible accommodation is also open to people with MND in other countries and people with other disabilities, we now have a priority system in place for people living with MND in Scotland. This means, if no one on your trip has MND and lives in Scotland, you can only book our accommodation 4 weeks in advance of your stay. If you request dates more than 4 weeks before your departure, we unfortunately will have to reject the booking. Bookings are not final until a confirmation email has been sent from our team.
