Small Grant

If you are affected by MND you may be eligible for a MND Scotland Small Grant supported by the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.

Our Small Grant can be used to help cover a range of costs associated with living with MND.

More than one application can be made but £1,000 is the current lifetime limit. However, during the current Coronavirus pandemic, if you have already used this amount and are struggling financially at the moment, you can apply again. We will look at applications on a case by case basis.

Here are some ways our Small Grant may be able to help you:

  • re-instatement of décor after a wet room or bedroom conversion
  • the hire of specialist equipment when on holiday
  • wheelchair accessories such as waterproof clothing
  • the adaptation of clothing, e.g. replacing zips with Velcro
  • dog walking
  • help with utility bills

To apply for this grant fill in our form below and we will get back in touch. For more information please contact us 0141 332 3903 or email us at info@mndscotland.org.uk

This grant is supported by the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
