Café Scientifique: Dr Liz Elliott

Dr Liz Elliott, MND Scotland's newest MND Clinical Research Fellow, will be presenting her research for members of the public.

Her research explores the unique genetic patterns which could explain why people affected by MND experience different symptoms and experience different rates of progression.

As a part of the worldwide Café Scientifique series, the event is free, informal, and is open to anyone who wishes to attend. There's no need to book this event - simply turn up on the night.

The event takes place in the bar area on level 2, which is accessible via a customer lift.

If you would like to contact us about this event, please email Steven Karlsson-Brown, MND Scotland's Education and Research Officer, on steven@mndscotland.org.uk or call on 0141 332 3903.

You can read more about Dr. Elliott's work on the research pages of the MND Scotland website.

“I would like to thank MND Scotland and the Chief Scientist Office for the Clinical Academic Fellowship... I have been privileged to meet people with MND and their families [in previous roles] and these experiences have inspired this PhD project”
