Fun Run Relay - Photo Competition Terms and Conditions
- The Photo Competition is open to certain residents of the UK aged 18 and over and is void where prohibited by law.
- The Photo Competition is not open to employees or agencies of MND Scotland (“MND Scotland” or the “Promoter”), their group companies or family members.
- Entrants into the Photo Competition shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- To enter the Photo Competition please send your photo to fundraising@mndscotland.org.uk. No purchase is necessary. Purchase does not enhance your chance of winning. If you have any questions about how to enter or otherwise in connection with the Photo Competition, please email us at fundraising@mndscotland.org.uk with “MND Scotland Photo Competition” in the subject line. The winners will be selected by a panel of MND Scotland staff on w/c 25th September 2023. Votes will be cast for best photos received. Winners will be contacted in October 2023.
- MND Scotland accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by MND Scotland.
- The Photo Competition close at 11:59pm on Monday 25th September 2023. Entries received outside this time period will be void.
- The Photo Competition winners will receive a bespoke Fun Run Relay 2023 award.
- The winners will be notified by email and given details of how to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to MND Scotland within 14 days of being notified of their win, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and MND Scotland shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have to respond to notification of their win within 14 days or else they will also forfeit their prize). If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these terms, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and MND Scotland shall be entitled to select another winner.
- The prize will be sent to the winner within one month of accepting prize competition.
- The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any other prize.
- MND Scotland reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of similar value in the event that the original prize offered is not available.
- The winner consents to the use by the Promoter and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Prize Competition for an unlimited time, of the winner’s voice, image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by the Promoter and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Photo Competition, all entrants consent to the same.
- The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information you supply in entering this Photo Competition as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen www.mndscotland.org.uk/privacy-policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation and applicable law. By entering the Photo Competition, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Photo Competition entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 12 above. The information supplied by you in the associated survey form will be used as described on the survey form.
- MND Scotland accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Photo Competition or accepting the prize. MND Scotland further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Prize Competition.
- MND Scotland reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Photo Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its reasonable control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of MND Scotland in all matters relating to the Photo Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event that MND Scotland permanently discontinues the Photo Competition pursuant to this paragraph, the entrants in the Photo Competition shall be released from their obligations to MND Scotland under these Terms and Conditions.
- MND Scotland shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this Photo Competition where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
- The Photo Competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by Scots law and entrants to the Prize Competition submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scots courts.
